What location are you in Canada
Gorgeous German Shepherd puppy!
You should do an online course
And train many globally
That Trump cup is super beautiful 😂😂😂 that was great
Thank you so much!Important because to these dogs it makes the difference with their lives along with the lives they are saving! First I have seen that is REAL! Tytyty
This is how you deal with dominant, strong dogs. They speak a very simple language.
Gosh I love that giant fluffy german shepherd Tarzan. Dogs that give you a great full bite in prey make it easier to turn the dial on defense/fight drive work in slow increments to get a balanced dog.
I’m curious to know where that first female went. She is going to be a beast.

Thank you for rescuing him, Brad you did an amazing job and so did your pup!👏👏👏
4:15 girIs Iove the bear🤣🤣🤌
They didn’t even give the dog back to you they just gave her the blue juice? That’s horrible. I have tried to get the previous owner of my gsd to take the dog back multiple times and I’ve also contacted the breeder and I still haven’t put her down.
Just got around to watching this one. Another excellent discussion as usual. Thanks for talking about Danger, Haz.
That knee👀
Nazi walking😂❤
Must have some hands on, no collar, in training and the dog must have some respect for the pack ie the handler...if the dog is trained with a clear picture if whats exoected in each exercise, theres no problem...plus some tricks to train in each exercise to keep it interesting for the dog and set up training for success without options for mistakes..
What about as a shepherd dog?
He a lovely mate but when walking his left leg is stiff , my female CO is 6 yrs & 86kg , amazing bread so loyal but very reactive but very lazy ,
My main problem here is that the dog had no clue WHAT he was corrected for. The handler said NO and then 9 seconds later chocked him. For me - does not matter what you do, make sure your dog gets a point. Here, NO could have been followed by a quick approach and a correction.
Dynamite - well done and super useful - things like in a car jacking turn off your car get your kids and wife out first - obvious but if that’s not in your head before it happens - who knows - awesome stuff as usual.
Was bitten recently. It was just an oversight and also my stupidity. The two of them wanted to get angry about another dog. I corrected and the energy then erupted as the two of them tried to get at each other's throats. Since that was a time when there was constant bitching between the two of them, as they were in puberty (littermates), I didn't want to treat bite wounds again. So unhappy, wanting to push one dog back. After a few seconds the street looked as if I had been slaughtered. Everything was covered in blood. He didn't even bite hard because he immediately realized that it was the wrong target. But the molars feel razor sharp. Anyway, I went home bleeding, disinfected, and went to the hospital. The wound was rinsed for an hour... It still hurts because it's a little scarred. That's how it is... but I know that you should NEVER put your hand between them. I've now had it explained again the hard way. By the way, I stayed surprisingly calm and my thoughts were actually more like: "At least the right hand... I work with them with the left."
Called a Caucasion Shepherd or Caucasion Ovcharka. Ovcharka means shepherd in Russia. I would never trust a LSGD off leash around people. He has not matured yet. Only take a blink of a eye Kevin could attack someone. You are playing a dangerous game walking him by people. I deal mostly with Central Asian Shepherds & good friends with EKaterina Rekowski who has written only books about the breed & only person her dogs accept outside of her & her husband. A few stay with me once in awhile of her 6. Using a ecollar on these LSGD would not use very often. It makes them worse in most cases.
Dang, did anyone keep count of CHIP!
Dagnabbit, I didn't get a notification in time! Btw, your horse handler would probably benefit from doing the "for one step of unrequested forward motion, we're going to do three steps backwards, and we'll keep doing that ad infinitum . . ." trick. Cheers & thanks!
If you teach a dog to be aggressive(even on command) don’t be shocked when a dog shows aggression, especially one that doesn’t need human intervention or coercion to perform tasks like the Dutch Shepherd. Dogs who don’t are the exception, not the rule.
I recently rescued a 5-year old Lab/mix and she had serious reactivity issues, did not know any basic commands and also barked a lot while inside. I live in an apartment, so I was very anxious to get help with her behaviour. I had her boarded/trained for the 5-week program. I just picked her up last week and I am so relieved that she has little to no reactivity to people, dogs or noise, she rarely ever barks and she knows commands now! I can finally walk her through the park and not avoid people or other dogs! They also crate trained her for me with my own crate, so I also love how calm and quiet she is when in her crate! She doesn't make a peep when in her crate! I just did a zoom meeting this afternoon, with her in her crate and she never made a peep! She is also sleeping through the entire night now! As other clients have also mentioned, I was also stressed out with trying to manage her behaviour inside and outside, but now we can both continue our stress-free life together! I would never have been able to train her myself, so I'm so grateful for the Shield K9 professional dog trainers!!! Kisses from Bella <3
I'm curious how so many people are aware of your business from other countries!? It's a great compliment to your marketing and advertising I guess!?
I missed your live ☹️ and had questions.
Beautiful !!!
When u having oscar mora on the show Oscars hell of a trainer and likable guy
I’m disappointed I missed this. You Tube didn’t keep up its end of the bargain and notify me. 😢
I’m lighting one for Kimberly 😂
we have 2 littermates (stupidly took adult son to pick my puppy), we have had to train them totally separately, they don't get walked together because they wind each other up & don't listen. they get to play together occasionally but its limited & monitored cos they are intact males.
!!!!!!!!
I appreciate that you didn't say "How to pick a puppy..." -- Rather than the current thread title: "How to pick a Dog...". It does seem that you can eliminate some puppies, maybe based on personality traits, e.g., overly fearful... etc. To select dogs for desired/specific military/police-type qualities, it seems like it's similar to the military selection process , i.e., you can't tell if they'll meet the standards until they do.
damn upset i missed this
Clinton Anderson had a saying: "patience comes from knowing you are going to get exactly what you want". Great live💥
Grabbing the ear can damage the growing cartiledge in their ears. Scruff doesn't bother my gsd puppy in the least. It amps him up
is there an age limit when your looking to bring green dogs in from europe for protection training
I wish Haz & Lucas would do a podcast specifically for women. Thing seem to be getting more dangerous every year for us. What kind of things to look for in a dog. What kind of weapons to have hidden in your house and where. What to do when your getting followed home ( happened to me twice).
This is how you ruin a breed
How do you begin luring with a dog like that? He already knows obedience commands in this video, but I wanna know how it was taught to begin with!
Little pocket rocket
Wow. People are so stupid.
I've seen a shelter offer puppies who were 9 weeks old, all fixed.
The better question is, "how do the sexes differ?" so you can choose according to individual preferences and circumstances.
My 8wk old gsd x malinois is destroying me..he acts like your dog gage with a ball except he's going for any body part he can grab. I hope I am capable of using his drive for training. I have 6 more puppies that desperately need a home.
I really needed to hear the "puppy until 6 months." I have a 5 month old GSD who is learning amazingly, but I've been intense with training from day 1, this helped me realize that he's doing great and I can tone it down sometimes 👍
